About the Game

Set in an 8-bit universe, The Nerd must save all of gaming from a corrupted monstrosity trying to take over every console in the world! To stop the digital menace, the Nerd must fight through multiple stages hearkening back to retro classics and face off against familiar enemies from across the AVGN universe.

History

Programancer (Prison City, Dumpy & Bumpy) got his start in development with Duke Nukem 3D mods in 1996. He has been working on his own games since 2003, tackling design, art, and sound alike.

Mega Cat Studios (Five Nights at Freddy's: Into the Pit, Backyard Baseball) specializes in retro, pixel-style games as well as creating brand new games for classic hardware, cartridges and all!

Retroware (Iron Meat, Toxic Crusaders) develops and publishes modern retro games that evoke the classics we love combined with the modern features we've come to expect.
